Alexander Renwick
Co-Founder & Director
Alexander has a strong track record in raising assets and has forged excellent relationships with and earned the trust of multiple institutions, family offices, wealth managers and consultants across Europe. His most developed relationships are in the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, and the Nordic region.

Alexander holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Exeter and an MSc from the London School of Economics.
​
Alexander founded the Investment XV, a London based investment industry rugby team which competes in the City league. Alexander previously worked at Aravis Capital.
Charlie Baillie
Co-Founder & Director
Charlie has 10 years’ experience working in technical client facing roles within the fund management industry. Charlie began his career working for Mercer Investments in London and Hong Kong, providing investment consulting advice to large institutional investors.

Following this, Charlie worked in the institutional client team at Aberdeen Standard Investments (ASI) focusing on clients invested in ASI’s suite of Absolute Return strategies. Over his career, Charlie has developed relationships with UK, Irish and Swiss investors across wholesale and institutional channels.

Charlie holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society of the UK. He has a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Warwick and an MSc in Finance from Warwick Business School.

Matthew Merriman
Investment Sales Manager
Matthew joined Daymer Bay Capital in September 2020, having spent 7 years at Wellington Management. Matthew began his career with Wellington in Boston, working with the Financial Reserves Management group covering US insurance clients.
​
Subsequently, he relocated to London as a client representative for UK and Irish clients, comprising public and private pension plans, alternative investment platforms, local government pension funds, family offices and foundations.
​
Following this, Matthew was engaged in the development of prospect and client relationships with central banks, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and other institutional investors in the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.
​
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) from Trinity College Dublin, has passed level two of the CFA and is a member of the CFA Society of the UK.

Paul Cunningham
Chairman & Chief Operating Officer
Paul has extensive business experience, having founded, funded and managed several companies; and he chairs and advises a number of businesses in diverse sectors. Paul started out in the City in the 1980s but then embarked upon an entrepreneurial career in a range of sectors including manufacturing, retail, publishing, engineering and technology.

Paul has been instrumental in building the Daymer Bay Capital business and his role as Chairman is to oversee how the business is governed, managed and operated.
​
As Chief Operating Officer he manages all legal, financial, contractual, compliance and operational aspects of the business allowing Alexander and Charlie to focus all their efforts on raising assets.
​
Paul graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MA in Modern and Medieval Languages.
